• Meta videos: Fan theories, reaction videos
• Fan filmed content: Fan films, sweded films, cosplay music videos

Long form vidding! Why and how? Also again WHY? How to develop an idea - how to organize that much source - and how to feel okay about it when you’ve had “edit that song down” drilled into your brain your entire vidding life.

I have more thoughts but I’m tired and I wanted to put this out there

I'd love to see an instruction panel on editing songs for length. Different technology, how to use ear vs software to know where to make the cuts, tricks for making the sections not sound chopped.

How about a Vidding 101 panel? Think there might be new or potential vidders at the con?

I second this - I think the first year of the con is a great time to offer something for newbies!

I hesitated to suggest this in case vid panelers might feel they wanted to do something more interesting with their panel time, but as someone who has had a couple of vague vid ideas kicking around for a while but never yet made the plunge, I would be interested in attending this.

Considering this is a multitrack con, Vidding 101 or some kind of Intro to Vidding pannel seems like it might be a great way to entice new potential vidders.

Song searching! How do you know you've found the "right song"? One of my biggest struggles is trying to figure out if a song is going to work or not if I don't immediately get that "yes, PERFECT" feeling. Sometimes a song that just feels okay to me at first ends up working really well, and sometimes it falls really flat. I'd be interested in hearing other people's thoughts on this.
